Blacktail Mountain Ski Area is affordable and family friendly. Located high above Flathead Lake in northwest Montana. All slopes are north facing and present consistent snow through mid-April.
Blacktail Mountain Ski Area offers more than 13 miles of terrain with 24 named trails, 70 acres of gladed tree skiing. 1,000 acres on Flathead National Forest. 15% novice, 70% intermediate, 15% advanced. All natural snow on north-facing slopes. There are 3 chairs: 2 doubles, 1 triple and a handle tow.

Racing program for all ages. Professional ski/snowboard instruction for all ages and abilities. Ski free if your age is 7 and under or if your age is 70 and over. All fifth-graders get a free season pass with proof of grade.
Blacktail Mountain Ski Area includes a beautifully built lodge offering all amenities including fine dining in Muley's on the third floor of the lodge, as well as very affordable cafeteria style meals on the main level.
