Escape to the mountains of Southeast Wyoming... 37.5 acres bordering 160 acres State Public land in the rugged Laramie Mountains! This remarkable property offers a unique blend of the end of the road privacy, gorgeous unobstructed views, natural beauty and secluded tranquility. Located in Albany County, Wyoming, it is 45 miles NE of Laramie and 90 miles NW of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Power is a mile away, so solar would be a good option. There is a developed spring in the southeast corner that feeds a water tank for livestock that usually flows much of the year. There is also a small spring creek that usually flows for part of the year on the eastern edge of the land as well. The land has a few pine and juniper trees, some impressive granite boulders, some great elevated build sites and pasture for some animals (no restrictions). It is approx. 4 miles off the state highway and about 2 miles off the county maintained road! It is fenced on the south border and the spring area is fenced off by itself. The closest town is 32 miles to the NE, Wheatland (pop 4000). Cell phones work on this property. Wildlife includes elk, mule deer, whitetails, bighorn sheep, antelope & turkeys, as well as upland game birds. Folks do live here year-round, some have retired here, while others use it for a weekend getaway far from the city lights. Roads are maintained by property owners as desired. Winter access may require some snow plowing. Mild covenants, but no HOA for enforcement so they appear to be loosely followed.
