In a real estate transaction there are a lot of moving parts and important obligations that need to be met. After spending years working for oil and gas companies to review lease and contract agreements, I got really good at pouring through intimidating legal documents. So now, one’s contractual terms is my light reading!

What is your superpower? 

One of my special superpowers is identifying dog breeds. As kids, my sister and I used to fight over who got to take the dog breed book to their room at night.

What made you decide to pursue your current position with us? 

I spent my career up until now working long days for bigger corporations. I wanted something fun, different, and flexible. I moved to Bozeman in the fall of 2018 with the desire for a change of pace and lifestyle. -- and I found Montana Good Life. Real Estate has always interested me and it seemed like a great position to learn the business and also maintain some flexibility in my daily schedule.

What's your background and how does that help real estate clients? 

My experience with deadlines and maintaining oil and gas agreements set me up to be able to assist our clients and agents in making sure all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed. I've also had personal experience buying and selling my homes which helps me relate to what our clients are facing during each transaction.

What is an unusual life experience or hobby you have that people would be surprised to hear?  

When we first moved here and hadn't figured out what to do for work yet, my boyfriend and I started the Bozeman Barkery. We make dog treats and accessories for wholesale. I never thought I would be baking dog cookies and making bandanas and bow ties in my free time, but here we are.

It may not be unusual in Montana, but I am absolutely obsessed with flyfishing and use every opportunity to drag my boyfriend and our two retrievers to the nearest river. One of my dogs is even named after an old fishing fly -- Copper John!
